you must understand, i am all for #believeinsherlock. 110%. but take a step back and think about what some of you are doing: commiting a crime in the name of a hero. i get that you want to spread the message, but i think the motive was lost a little. what are moffat and gatiss going to say when they see what their fans have done in their name? drawing a smiley face on the back of a bathroom stall door with a yellow sharpie is one thing, but tagging public/private property? why don’t we all step back for a second and think of other ways we could accomplish this: posters, pictures, chalk, videos, buttons, tshirts… you name it, we can do it. i personally think it would be much more powerful to see billions of posters everywhere stating ‘i believe in sherlock’ and ‘moriarty was real’ than graffiti.
there’s more than one way to get noticed; let’s do this right.
